CAJUN/ZYDECO FESTIVAL
Annual Festival to be held at Ardenwood Historic Farm August 23
Ardenwood Historic Farm in Fremont will host the 12th Annual Cajun Zydeco festival on Saturday, August 23. This year the festival is a month earlier than it has been in the past – so be sure to let your friends know. The festival will showcase some of the best Louisiana French Cajun/Zydeco music and dancing. Musical entertainment will feature The Creole Belles, Queen Ida and her Zydeco Band, Andre Thierry & Zydeco Magic, Lil Guyland Leday & The Family & Friends Zydeco Band, Roy Carrier and the Night Rockers (entertainment may be subject to change). Treat yourself to a delicious variety of Cajun food, specialty vendors, and dance lessons. Gates open at 10 a.m., live music will play from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m.
Enjoy the day at Ardenwood Farm surrounded by fields of organic produce, farm animals, and the historic Patterson House. Take the train from the entrance to the festival site. Bring a blanket, low-back lawn chair, sunblock, and hat. Wear your dancing shoes! Alcohol prohibited. Please purchase beverages inside festival. NO PETS allowed.

Ardenwood Historic Farm is located on Ardenwood Boulevard just north of Highway 84 (Dumbarton Expressway) in Fremont. Tickets at Gate: $20, Children 4 – 15 $3. Order tickets by August 15 and save! (Adults $16, children $2). Children under 4 free.
