Celtic Music on Father's Day at the Black Diamond Mines
Spend an enjoyable day with dad or other family and friends - at the Black Diamond Mines Regional Park in Antioch on Sunday, June 15, with a free Open House, followed by a free Celtic music concert. During the day, volunteers and staff of the Black Diamond Mines will host free self-guided tours of the Hazel-Atlas silica sand mine for those seven and older. Take a quick peek or a leisurely stroll through this 1930s era mine, recently expanded to include over 800 feet of mines open to the public.
In the evening, stay to enjoy Celtic music by Golden Bough. The talented trio will play traditional music from Ireland and Scotland. Bring chairs and a picnic dinner.
