May 15, 2010 is “Opening Day” for the Visitor Center at Del Valle Regional Park

May 15, 2010 is “Opening Day” for the Rocky Ridge Visitor Center located on the lake’s west side.  Campers and park visitors are encouraged to wander in and talk with naturalists and student aides about the park, the lake and exciting programs happening all summer long.  Campfires begin May 15th also!  Join the naturalists at the amphitheater for an evening of campfire fun including songs, stories and games.  Roast marshmallows and meet your fellow campers.
 
Park visitors can also enjoy a scenic boat tour with naturalist staff.  Join us on the lake beginning Saturday, May 29, 2010.  Purchase tickets at the east-side concession counter.
