Don't miss "Outdoor Escapes in the East Bay Regional Parks" airing on Sunday, April 20 at 8 p.m. on KRON (channel 4). This commercial free 30-minute special is hosted by Doug McConnell of Bay Area Backroads fame. Doug is a dear friend of the East Bay Regional Park District and over the years has filmed at many of the parks. The special will showcase some of those visits along with new footage, including an interview with General Manager, Pat O'Brien. This is a fabulous way to learn about visitor centers, lakes, trails, and special getaways right here in the East Bay.
