Group Swimming Procedures
Group swim notification (replaces “Swim Letters” as of 4/1/11)
- Available only WEEKDAYS DURING scheduled lifeguard hours
- 5 working days advance notice required
- No fee” with “- Pay applicable Beach/Pool Access Fees at the park on swim day
- Call 1-888-EBPARKS or 1-888-327-2757, option 2 (As of 4/1/11, no written requests are accepted. Phone only).
Pool/Lagoon Rental
- Available weekdays OUTSIDE scheduled lifeguard hours. Call for availability.
- Available at the following facilities: Cull Canyon, Roberts, Contra Loma, Don Castro, Castle Rock
- 2 weeks advance notice required
- Additional requirements: $2 million general liability insurance naming the East Bay Regional Park District as additional insured. Coverage must be primary. Call or refer to rental contract for details.
- PUBLIC SCHOOLS: Must show School Board approval and collect waivers from all participants. Call or refer to rental contract for details.

Lifeguard Rental
- Available weekdays May-Sept OUTSIDE scheduled lifeguard hours, based on staff availability.
- Available at the following facilities: Del Valle, Shadow Cliffs, Temescal, Lake Anza, Quarry Lakes
- Use of swim area is not exclusive
- 2 weeks advance notice required
- Additional requirements: $2 million general liability insurance naming the East Bay Regional Park District as additional insured. Coverage must be primary. Call or refer to rental contract for details.
